‘Twas the night before Christmas
and all through our little town
the wild horse herd roamed
and twinkling lights shone all around.
Ruidoso gleamed and glittered
with sleigh rides and hot chocolate in the park,
as families gathered to celebrate the season
with full bellies and warm hearts.
Tucked back on winding mountain roads,
loved ones snuggled in cabins
after a full day of winter fun
and Ruidoso’s special touch of holiday magic.
Shoppers rushed back with their treasures
as Cowboy fiddlers played a merry tune.
And Midtown storefronts locked up tight.
Christmas is coming soon!
While Santa in his sleigh prepared
and last minute baking was done,
the holiday season felt extra special
getting to gather again with everyone.
So little heads lay down to sleep
as Upper Canyon hears bells chime
See the reindeer pulling a bright red sleigh
It must be Christmastime!
